Pleasant Surprise. Excellent Food and willing service.

Recommended by our hotel, Fraser Residence Shanghai as we were looking for late dinner after arriving around 8 pm. When first entered, it was challenging or even scary as we went through interesting entrance then take lift to 6F. Then we went into reception, NO ONE spoke English. But our smiley face worked even though our hostess looked quite confused why we were there.:) Prepare to bring out Google translator and some interesting hand gestures.:)

Good thing was they have excellent English menu with good pictures and descriptions and we ordered crispy duck, prawn, scallop, abalone, short ribs, vegetables, mango pudding, and drinks/tea costed around AUD 150. I though it was good value for family of 4.

So we went back again for the last night in Shanghai.
